aperient    1. adj. Laxative 2. n. A medicine [L aperio open].

another strange "S" word:
Seidlitz powder    n. An aperient. [place]
hmmmmm, what's an aperient Mum?

thinking that maybe we should send something to eyeshot. Kathy's had a piece published there. and the eyeshot man is suggesting working on pieces that have already been published, extending the story, and we've had a bit of a go with that ourselves ...
think about it, I'm going to work now, bye bye

There are a lot of really strange words in the "S" section of the dictionary, for example:
sudarium   n. (pl. ia).   St Veronica's kerchief with imprint of Christ's face. [L sudo sweat]
Quite odd that there is a plural form ...

Kathy says -
"tell Lee to go for it, I'm bogged down with french-related crap at the
moment."
(Kathy studies French at UTS as part of the International Studies degree, I think the above quote indicates quite succinctly how she feels about it at the moment.)

hey it did work - just took a little while

alright - I give up for the short term - I'm trying to put a link to the ongoing project aka no working title at the top of this page, next to the home and archive links but it's just not working for me ...
so,
you'll have to click through from here: no working title

yes, very sad, just normal words, I'll put up my ultra unfinished projects soon ... meanwhile Ashleigh has added to the very fantastic ongoing collaborative project with no working title.
which brings us to the question - who wants to work on it next? do you want to have a go Kathy? or do you want it back Lee? or Yolande, do you want to stop being the founding token member and become a functioning part of a dysfunctional team?
it's up for grabs, who ever puts up an expression of interest first, gets the baby.
