Excellent idea Lynn. Today is Friday the 13th.... black, negro, dark, ebony Friday.

hey maybe we could have a sub-blog called "no working title" so that people could just add to the story ... so this one would be us crapping on about not writing, and "no working title" could be the actual work, the cumulative story ... whadayareckon?
talking / typing / posting about things in installments - Kathy has a webpage with a story in installments:
Julie & Keith: the emotionally retarded duo
Those of you who go to UTS and read Vertigo may be familiar with J & K.
ah yes - the way to add to the story is very low tech
copy the text of the story from no working title
paste it into the word processor of your choice
add stuff
email it to me and I put it online
I was thinking it might be good to have it in parts / installments ... but am not sure how to do it yet

Hey I think we need to spend a little time in Writing Group working on our tenses. I thought that Lee had got us back into present tense, see below, but when I re-read the end, it kind've skips from present in the 2nd last paragraph back to past in the last paragraph.
At least I think we are all on the same page.
Who wants to write next?
Tom are you there? or Matt or John? or will I go again?

Lee has added to the story.
The girl is amazing, she's managed to get us out of the bookshop and back into present tense. Fantastic !

Indo mie brand, Mi goreng fried instant halal noodles..... containing 5 seasoning sachets of: Seasoning powder, seasoning oil, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce and fried onion. These noodles were great... a step above your average instant noodles I reckon. I just found them in the cupboard, they weren't mine and only a month out of date... product of Indonesia.
raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens,
oil sticks, and eye crap, and nose poo, and mittens
2-minute noodles all tied up with string,
etc
exactly how out of date?
one month? one year? a day?
and what flavour? I'm presuming that they were "2-minute" style noodles, which they may not have been, they may've been fresh noodles, just not so fresh anymore ...
