teach a man to fish

I woke up this morning to Tim asking me questions about fishing:

* What do you do if you catch a spikey fish?
* Why do fishermen have buckets?
* Is a bag better than a bucket?
* How do you get the hook out?
* Doesn't the hook have barbs?
* How do you gut a fish?
* What's the vent?
* And how do you scale a fish?

I won't bore you with my answers.

The three things

In a dizzyingly short space of time three things happened:

1) I hit a tram-track kerb and went straight over the handlebars
2) A good majority of the shopping bags split open
3) All of the round, bouncy things in the above mentioned split bags made a run for it.

I righted myself, stood the bike up, and watched them race away along the tram tracks.
